This is after a consultative meeting between officials of the club and those from the sports stadia management board (SSMB) today. Gor Mahia was initially banned from using SSMB resources after their fans destroyed seats in Kasarani stadium in a match against Nairobi City Stars 3 weeks ago. The game ended on a barren draw and Gor Mahia were fined Sh 2.8 million.
Gor Mahia Chairperson Ambrose Rachier agreed that the match will be played in Kasarani because KPL will place the Sh 1 million bond as demanded. He however said that the Sh 2.8 million fine was exaggerated and that a joint assessment should be done before the amount is paid.
